Thank you to everyone who attended the Battle screening at Raleigh. It was a terrific night and the film was a hit. Next up is the festival circuit. We’ll keep you updated on which festivals Battle screens at.

A shot of the infamous Golden Gate Bridge from the San Francisco location scout shot with my trusty iPhone camera. You can’t have a film set in San Francisco and not have a shot of the Golden Gate!

While in San Francisco, I went on a location scout with producer Mike Ryan. While looking for a circa 1982 movie theater, I looked up and saw America already on the marquee! Well, okay, it was actually Captain America but it was still pretty cool. We had a great time, visited all the old haunts in San Francisco and took some great reference pics!

Took a quick flight from New York to San Francisco to attend the world premiere of Last Weekend, directed by Tom Dolby and Tom Williams, and produced by America producer, Mark Johnson. Fun time!

At the United Nations to attend a special screening of Academy Award nominated film, Omar, in honor of the year of solidarity with the Palestinian people. Also had some good meetings to discuss an upcoming feature film project. It was a fabulous time -- I love New York!

Isa Totah directed short, The Pick Up, was selected for the 2014 Flickerfest Film Festival in Australia in their comedy shorts slate.

Battle just wrapped a phenomenal production. Great images, great performances, great direction… the whole thing was an unforgettable experience. I can’t wait to see the final film.
